J. Thomas Bridges, Ph.D
J. Thomas Bridges holds a B.S. from Iowa State University, a M.Div. with languages from Southwestern Baptist Seminary, an M.A. in Philosophy from Baylor University, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion from Southern Evangelical Seminary.
Academic Dean and Associate professor, philosophy at Southern Evangelical Seminary, Dr. Bridges' current academic interests include the following: The Philosophical Theology of Thomas Aquinas, The Philosophy of Science, and important issues subsumed under The Philosophy of Religion, including The Problem of Evil.
The panel of readers for the defense of his doctoral defense included: Southern Evangelical Seminary Professor of Philosophy, Richard G. Howe; Intelligent Design scholar and Mathematician, William A.
